Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Milford Haven Museum Board of Trustees have taken the difficult decision that the museum will not open to the public in 2020.
The Board have stressed the importance they place on keeping both visitors and guests safe, and they have felt this is the best way to do achieve this. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Museum's volunteers, guests, patrons and donors for their continued support.
Whilst the museum is closed this year, there will be a wide range of maintenance work taking place. The Port of Milford Haven has begun external improvements to the Museum by re-rending the building. Internally, a small team of volunteers will press ahead with many of our renovation plans. A selection of the work taking place includes painting, changing exhibits, continued collection care, as well as planning ahead for re-opening in 2021.
As a registered charity, that relies heavily on the income generated by paying guests, the museum will continue to seek financial support from various sources. We would specifically like to thank the Port of Milford Haven and Milford Haven Town Council for their continued support.
If you would like to support the Museum, then you can find out more information on our Support Us page.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we would like to extend very safe wishes to you.
